Statement of Purpose
This web site is a work-in-progress. It incorporates selections from a growing video, audio and print archive of contemporary Russian culture and serves as an integral teaching tool for a course at Yale entitled “Emerging Trends in Russian Culture: The Icon and the Fax.” Grateful acknowledgement is hereby made to the Yale Slavic Department for their sponsorship and support through the ITS/Library Yale Grant.
